Boneheaded Lawsuit Threat of the Year

CalBlogger Justene is being threatened with a lawsuit over comments (currently unavailable for obvious legal reasons) here. The Bear Flag League is of course coming to her aid by blogging about the situation themselves. If we don’t hang together, etc. Patterico pontificates. The Interocitor holds forth as well. UPDATE: Interocitor has more here. Xrlq speaks his piece. The tide rolls at Right on the Left Beach. And now comes Miller’s Time—er, turn. Bill Quick lives up to his name—he posted on this yesterday, then linked to this post before I could update. Jeff the So Cal Lawyer (it occurred to me if I didn’t break that up some might read it “so-called lawyer”) has posted his opinion. Personally, I think he’s pulling his punches. Here’s the Irish Lass’s take. And BoifromTroy says “The end of blogging will come from lawyers.” Maybe so, but only if the blogging lawyers let it happen. And this sure won’t work out that way. Looks like Lex Communis is channeling R. Lee Ermey. Well, almost—you need to work “maggot” into the rant to be truly Gunny-like. And Ith joins the fray as well. As does Michael Williams, “Master of None.” And Citizen Smash. Boy, Infotel really doesn’t want this guy to get ticked off at them. Pathetic Earthlings examines the larger issue of blogs vs. business bad guys. PrestoPundit links up. Though not a Bear Flagger, the Wizbanger is interested, too. And so is InstaPundit—I can’t wait to check my traffic stats for today. I almost overlooked Denise Howell, whose post on the subject is here.
